Michael serves as Deputy Director for the Maricopa County Clerk of the Superior Court. Joining the Clerk’s Office in June 2018, he currently oversees Budget, Financial Services, Public Records, and Administrative Services.  Aligned with the mission of the Clerk’s Office, Michael is responsible for the fair and timely service in an array of departments including: Criminal Financial Obligations, Billing & Deferral, Family Support Services, Appeals & Exhibits, Marriage Licenses & Passports, Customer Call Center, and Distribution.

Michael arrived at the Clerk’s Office with over 14 years of leadership experience, progressing through several senior-level management positions within the private sector.  He has demonstrated versatility and achieved success at a regional level in contracted government services and the transportation industry.

For a period of seven years, Michael was the regional director of operations for a parking management corporation, where he was responsible for the financial and operational performance of over 30 locations with 400 employees. Core among his responsibilities in this role was leading acquisition and turnaround efforts of at-risk properties.

Michael previously served as area manager for a government contractor, where he balanced national business development and contract operations for the company’s transportation services sector, including direct oversight of parking enforcement for the City of Chicago.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University.  He enjoys hiking and the outdoors in general along with his wife Veronica and son Ludwig
