Nancy has been with the Office since October 2013.  As Chief Deputy, she is an active member of the Office’s Executive Team.  As such, she participates in determining the organizational culture and the strategic goals of the Office.  She also provides support and assistance to the Elected Clerk and is a first point of contact for justice partner agencies.  Nancy also acts as a coach and mentor for the Deputy Directors and other Executive team members. 

In addition to her strategic and administrative responsibilities, Nancy has oversight for a large portion of the Office’s non-courtroom Adult operations.  Those operations include filing counters at all Clerk locations, eFile, Docket and Auditing, EDM (scanning of paper documents received over the filing counters), Criminal, Grand Jury.  She is also responsible for Juvenile Operations and Juvenile Courtroom Services at both Juvenile facilities.  Nancy maintains a Span of Control of approximately 250 employees. 

Nancy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from Western International University, a Master’s Degree in Administration with a Leadership Emphasis from Northern Arizona University, and is a Fellow of the National Center for State Courts’ Institute for Court Management.  She has served as an appointed member of a number of Arizona Supreme Court Committees and Sub-committees and maintains active membership with the National Association for Court Management, as well as the International Association for Court Administration.
